Shipping parcels to European Union countries
Effective March 1st 2023, new customs regulations go into effect for the European Union (EU). These new import requirements to the EU requires Harmonized Traffic System (HTS) codes on customs forms CN22 and CN23, as well as more-detailed item descriptions for all shipped items.
These changes aim to decrease the risk of fraud, improve the efficiency of cross-border ecommerce and meet safety and security requirements.
To go in line with the new EU requirement, blue™ now requires for the HTS section to be filled with the required 6-digit or 10-digit HTS code on the customs form.
