Box of Savings – Consolidation Process for NonCon Shipments
Box of Savings allows smaller shippers to access International Bridge’s NonCon service, which supports fast and affordable shipping to non-continental U.S. destinations, including Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands and APO/FPO addresses. To use Box of Savings, begin by printing five or more NonCon shipping labels. Place the labeled parcels into a single consolidated box. This box will require a first-mile shipping label to send it from your origin address to an International Bridge (IB) warehouse, such as LAX or CVG.
Once received at the IB facility, the individual packages are processed and shipped to their final destinations using IB’s standard NonCon delivery network. This method helps reduce shipping costs by utilizing existing routes and improving volume efficiency.
Benefits
- Cost Efficiency: Reduces shipping costs by consolidating smaller shipments.
- Streamlined Workflow: Consolidation is managed directly through the IB platform.
- Improved Transit Times: Uses IB’s established logistics network to reach remote destinations faster.
