Can I make a test label using blue?
Yes. Before you start paying postage, you do have the option to print out test labels for the following reasons:
- Check if the price is right
- Confirm your logo looks the way you want it
- Is the format okay
- Is the printer ready, etc.
Follow the next few steps and make a test label:
- Log in to your blue account and select Dashboard from the left menu bar.
- Choose the One Click Print icon to initiate the simplified, single-page label creation process.
3. Insert the relevant data into the provided fields as outlined below:
--RETURN ADDRESS: This address is automatically set as your chosen Default shipping address, from the Address book. If you would like to change the default address, click Change and insert a new address in the provided fields.
-- DELIVERY ADDRESS: Enter the delivery address directly into the provided field and choose an auto-completed address from the list provided. If needed, edit your destination address using the individual fields.
-- PACKAGING: Enter relevant package characteristics making sure you provide an accurate weight. Weights can be automatically updated if you have integrated blue with your scale. To learn how to connect your scale to blue, click here. The other package fields can be entered but are not mandatory in most cases.
-- ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Use this section if you would like to add rubberstamps, references, custom reference keys, custom mailing date, or custom induction ZIP code.
-- SERVICES: Once you have entered all relevant package data, review and compare postage prices for different carriers and services, and decide which service best fits your need. Once you decide on the best fit service, select it and then choose any Extra services that are presented.
4. When ready, simply choose and click Test Label to see how your label will look like.
You can also print a test labels from the Orders Page. Select all orders with status Ready and click Print > Print Test Labels.
5. Now that you can see the test label and confirm that everything looks fine and there is no need for change anything, then just click on Print Label and that’s it!
