Label Cost Adjustments (for USPS Labels)
As a USPS-certified ePostage partner, International Bridge charges clients for label cost adjustments that are caused by inaccurate mail piece characteristics entered by the shipper or the inappropriate use of a refunded label.
Based on information entered by the shipper during the label creation process and data obtained by the sampling of mail-pieces, the USPS verifies if a shipper has paid the correct postage amount. If the USPS detects any underpayment, they will deliver the package to the recipient and charge the shipper for the postage due.
International Bridge passes on these cost adjustments to the clients according to policy outlined in the table below:
Note: All adjustments are detected and charged back to International Bridge by the carrier. The best way to avoid this and ensure a carefree shipping experience is by entering the correct mail-piece information when creating a label.
