How can I get notified if my meter balance is low?
Configuring the Low Balance Notification setting within your blue account provides you with an automated alert (email) when your account meter balance drops to or below a predetermined amount. Setting up this reminder notification helps ensure you have sufficient funds in your meter when you need them.
Enabling the Low Balance Notification is simple and includes the meter balance that will trigger the notification (trigger balance), the interval, in hours, that reminders will be generated, and one or more email addresses that will receive the notification.
Once your meter drops to the trigger balance or below, blue generates a notification within 15 minutes. Then, if the meter balance is not increased, an email notification is sent based on the configured reminder interval value.
To set the Low Balance Notification, follow the simple steps outlined below:
- Go to Settings> Low Balance Notification.
- Select the Enable Settings button to display the configuration options as shown in the image below.
- Enter the Trigger Balance amount and Reminder Interval (in hours).
- Select the New Email button and enter a list of email addresses that will receive the notification. (Note: You must enter at least one email address.)
- When the configuration values are complete, click Update.
