Do you support direct ZPL printer integration?
Yes, we do support ZPL printers and scale integration. Using the QZ-Tray software plugin, we support ZPL integration across all browsers and operating systems (using serial/USB devices).
In a few easy steps, you can have your ZPL printer or scale integrated, and use it directly from your browser. All you have to do is:
1. Download and install QZ-Tray
2. Set up your RAW printer
3. Set up your printer in blue
STEP 1. Download and install QZ-Tray
Log in to your blue Account, and download QZ-Tray plug in, as shown below.
Go to Settings>Preferences>Printers & Scales. Click Download QZ-Tray Here. This link takes you to the qz.io website where you can download the free QZ-Tray software plugin.
Download the .exe file and follow the simple installation wizard. In the end, please allow International Bridge to connect to QZ-Tray.
STEP 2. Set up your RAW printer
We support set up for both Windows and iOS operating systems; based on your operating system, you will automatically be presented with detailed instructions on how to set up a Raw printer for your operating system, by completing the following process:
A. After you successfully installed QZ-Tray, please go back to your blue Settings>Preferences>Printers & Scales and refresh the page.
B. If QZ-Tray is successfully connected, the page will change and guide you through the next step. For example, for Windows users, you will see an image as shown below.
C. Click Setting Up a Raw Printer in Windows, and follow the instructions.
STEP 3. Set up your printer in blue
After you are done setting up your Raw printer, you should come back to your blue account and set up your Zebra printer.
Please use the following simple steps to complete this process:
- Set up the printer you want to use
- Set up the printer's DPI and format
- Check the box under Zebra printers to show only those
- If you need to print a packing slip with a label you just need to set a printer for it ( a printer can be the same for a label and packing slip, but it does not have to be). If it is, the first that would be printing is a label.
At the bottom of the page, you can see the list of the printers connected to your computer,
Once finished, you can print a test page to validate that your setup is complete. To test, simply click a Test Printer button on the bottom of the same page.
